INTEGRATION WITH ACCESS CONTROL

There is a common misconception that a card reader access control system installed at your building or suite means your company’s assets are protected.  An access control system does a good job of letting the authorized people in, however it is not foolproof in keeping others out.  Thieves easily find a way to bypass card reader systems, whether by simply following an authorized person through the door, or more extreme, breaking the lock to open the door.  This is why intrusion monitoring at the suite is very important for securing your company’s assets.

Kastle integrates intrusion monitoring with access control to provide a turnkey solution that is not only secure, but simple and easy to use.  Kastle designs, installs and manages the intrusion detection system, including real time monitoring from one of our four redundant 24/7 operations centers.

If intrusion is detected, our operations center receives a signal immediately and follows whatever emergency protocol you have designated.  For example, a page or email can be sent, or an operator can contact the police or any designated emergency contacts by phone. 

Kastle can also verify the intrusion using monitored video to remotely view the location where the intrusion was detected and assess the situation.  (In some jurisdictions, visual verification is mandatory before police will be dispatched.)  2-way audio can also be installed so that our operators are able to speak directly to a person of interest through the audio system.
